Mixing One in a Million really felt like painting with sound. There's this natural brightness in the track that I wanted to bring forward, letting each part feel like it’s catching rays of light. We started with the beat and bass to create a solid groove—something you could feel in your bones without it taking over. With that in place, we focused on the softer details, nudging out the delicate layers and textures so they’d breathe easily in the mix.
There’s a magic in those ambient touches, so I aimed to make them feel like they were floating, hovering in the background without getting lost. It was all about giving each sound its own space to shine, almost like curating light in a room.
I added a little sparkle, refined the balance, and made sure it would sound beautiful on multiple systems. The track now has this bright, airy energy, and we are thrilled with how it turned out. We hope those tuning in experience that same calm, uplifting vibe when they hear it.
